Hook-up Spots (That hallowed spot where everyone hangs around with their mates dreaming of the time when they can get into the pubs or clubs - a bench, a corner: you name it.)
Penmare has Gone - now houses
Hayle Bowl has shut - now houses
Try the new McDonnalds or the Foundry Bar
The Penmere has closed - its now a housing estate
The Bowining club has closed - its now a housing estate
I only just moved here and cant find any stoners anywhere, ok it is winter but still threre has to be some stoners somewhere. The beach is amazing to hang about on, and theres a nice stretch of plants and faily lights, which looks ideal for toking in the summer. Ill have to wait for it to get hot again.
You can always expect to see George the tramp if you frequent the Foundry area.
If you don't see him you should at least be able to hear him as he often shouts at nobody in particular.
recreation Ground is Quite Poplular
hayle beach
Jareds field. The place to be before the mare on a saturday night! Great music, crap conversation and lots of explosions!
The opinions that were expressed about Hayle are right in that there is no decent club and 'kids' hang around outside co-op. BUT, for those of you that have a more cultured life, like me and my friends, then you will have seen that there are many beautiful places to hang out. WE hang out on the 'three miles of golden sandie beach'. WE drink in the foundry bar and think it is one of the best things that have come to Hayle.
penmare was crap, Foundry bar was good not enough talent in hayle for my liking
McDonalds car park seems popular
outside the surf shop is popular.
The rugby club is alwats popluar
also the bowling club got popular quite a while ago
the cornubria pub is the most popular but the main club is the penmare
The Knowhere Guide started out as a list of places to skateboard in the UK. It is a compilation of (unedited) information and views supplied by users like yourself. It is not a conventional tourist guide!
In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor
(the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
We make no claims as to the accuracy of the information in the Guide - our only purpose is to provide a forum for users to share their knowledge and opinions. So please keep a large bag of salt handy and be prepared to read between the lines!
If you disagree with a comment, or information is out of date, please submit an update! The contributors come from all walks of life, and their opinions are bound to be subjective, so if your view isn't represented, please speak up and contribute to the balance of the Guide. See below in the 'Have Your Say' section for how to add your voice.
If we have helped you out or made you laugh you can buy us a pint.
