Hook-up Spots (That hallowed spot where everyone hangs around with their mates dreaming of the time when they can get into the pubs or clubs - a bench, a corner: you name it.)

• Pellew Arcade Subway!
• The train station is not that far from the sea front.
• The bus stops round the triangle - if you're under 16 or over 80!
• Skateboard update. Teignbridge District Council Executive have approved the use of the old tennis court on the den at the sea front to be turned into askateboard park, the skateboard committee are now studying the best materials to be used for its construction and looking at parks all over the country so when they build it in the old tennis courts they will end up with the best possible park for our local skateboarders. There will also be byelaws preventing skateboarding on the sea front and den areas other than in the approved skateboard park . This to stop the damage being caused on the front by some irresponsible skateboarders to street furniture, walls and copings. Hopefully this will fill the void and provide a first class purpose built skateboard park adjacent to the sea front which has been sorely needed for years where the skateboarders can enjoy theirselves, follow their beloved sport and show off their skills to a large appreciative audience which frequents that area.
• He, he! The Ferry boat shelter...Skanky but alot better than getting yer knockers frozen in the cold, harsh nipple erecting wind :)
• Well most of us headed for Purps on the weekend. The now demolished triangle was also a popular haunt but the overwhelming smell of wee due to locked toilets and a certain lady of the night that can only compared to something from lord of the rings drove all but the most intoxicated away from there.

• Well, When I was A Wee Nipper... That Would Have Been The Triangle Bus Shelter... But... They Knocked It Down... Before That It Was "The Purps" Anyone Over 28, Will Ubderstand Me...
• Outside the Pier and Booth's Amusements. The Triangle (as it was once known)!
• The Venturers youth club building has finally gone and the old ladies of the committee that ran it all those years have finally been forced by beurocracy to give up the ghost . I reckon all three of them should get MBE's for their efforts and services t youth in th etown over thirty odd years. and if there is any justice in this world then someone should ensure they do.

In most cases, the information in each section has been submitted by more than one contributor (the credits at the bottom of the page list some, but not all, of the contributors) and some of it dates back to the 1970s.
